Beyond Addiction, located in Lackawanna County, PA is a refuge for women who are seeking to understand and recover from their addictions in a warm and welcoming environment. The newly renovated facility offers a safe place to be surrounded by other women who understand the struggles associated with addiction.
Tucked away from the downtown, the green space allows for outdoor counseling sessions, walks, and connecting with nature during our meditation groups. This 28-bed all-women’s 28–90-day (3.5 level of care) Residential program also allows women to learn and focus on becoming better women and mothers to children they currently have or wish to have in the future. Our parenting classes and dedicated groups to rebuilding broken relationships with family members make Beyond Addiction unique.
We are a bilingual facility allowing Spanish-speaking clients to also benefit from our program. We are a MAT-friendly program for qualified clients.
While children will not be staying on campus with their loved ones while they recover, we do offer family visitation to help mend broken bridges. One of the biggest challenges for women entering rehab is missing their children. At Beyond Addiction, we can accommodate weekly visitations with children and loved ones. We also utilize our outdoor space as a place to let kids run around and enjoy our campus.
Each client will share a room with only one other woman, and individual rooms can be accommodated. Laundry facilities are also present on site. The facility has several newly furnished living room areas and a TV lounge for our clients. Meals and snacks are provided daily and are cooked in the remodeled kitchen. All special dietary concerns and preferences can be accommodated. The warm and welcoming feel of Beyond Addiction Recovery is a great place for women to begin their journey of recovery.
Beyond Addiction is dedicated to partnering with local groups that advocate for women to help with things like housing, specialized counseling from sexual or physical abuse, and getting them on their feet with gainful employment. Treating addiction is difficult, but within a loving environment like Beyond Addiction, we are a woman’s first step to a beautiful life of recovery.
