What do I pack for my stay at Beyond Addiction?

We recommend no more than one-two week's worth of comfortable clothing and pajamas. We have laundry facilities on-site free of charge. Sturdy sneakers and shower shoes are highly recommended. Please consider the time of year when packing! We are on the top of a mountain and have outdoor space for eating and recreation, so a jacket is always a good idea. Envelopes and stamps are recommended to send letters to loved ones. Toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrush, and grooming products should be packed for your stay. Please DO NOT bring any products that contain alcohol. Please bring your license or form of photo identification and your insurance card.

Do I need to bring money with me?

You do not need to bring money with you for your stay. We do, however, have a store as well as vending machines. We recommend you bring a credit card or prepaid card that can be reloaded by friends or family from home. Cash and card are both accepted by the vending machines and at the store.

What can I not bring with me?

Revealing clothing, clothing with sexual or explicit images or clothing with drug and/or alcohol references are not allowed. It is also recommended not to bring jewelry or valuables. We DO NOT allow personal pillows. Each patient will receive two pillows during their stay. All linens and towels are provided during your stay. Open food is not allowed. If food is brought in unopened, it will be kept in the pantry and given to the resident during free time. While smoking and vaping are allowed in designated areas, opened liquid vape products are not allowed. Only cartridge-style non-rechargeable vapes are allowed.

What amenities are offered?

Beyond Addiction has newly furnished living quarters and common areas. We have a meditation room, a living room with a TV, and plenty of outdoor space for eating, socializing, and relaxing. We also have two laundry facilities and laundry products free of charge. All meals and snacks are prepared in the brand-new kitchen by our Executive Chef. Each room contains only two beds and plenty of closet space.

What is the food like?

Our Executive Chef plans each meal and menu based on patient needs and preferences. The menu is always changing, and we do not have a rotating meal schedule. You will be served meals with fresh, seasonal ingredients as well as your favorite comfort foods. Our Chef will also involve you in the meal decisions and provide cooking instruction throughout your stay if you desire. All personal dietary preferences and restrictions are accommodated.

In addition to your meals, you will be provided with two snacks a day which will include a combination of freshly made foods and your favorite snack foods. We also have food and drink vending machines for additional snacks during your stay.

Can I receive and send mail?

Absolutely! Mail and packages are distributed daily to residents. Please send mail to our address listed below with the resident's name clearly marked. If you are sending snacks, cigarettes, or vaping supplies to your loved ones, please ensure they are unopened. We will not be able to accept open products.
